Navigating New Motherhood: A Guide to Support and Wellness

Becoming a new mother is an exhilarating journey filled with joy but can also be overwhelming. New mothers face many challenges, from adjusting to life with a newborn to navigating the physical and emotional changes. That's where Lucy Schanzer, LPS Perinatal, offers essential support and resources to guide new mothers through this transformative time.

Join Lucy's free New Mother's Group every Monday from 1 pm to 2 pm.

This inclusive and supportive space allows new mothers to share experiences, learn from one another, and connect on topics crucial to the transition into motherhood. From discussing birth stories to exploring strategies for sleep, feeding, relationships, and self-care, each session is designed to empower and uplift new mothers.

Tailored Services for New Mothers

In addition to the New Mother's Group, Lucy offers a range of specialized services tailored to the unique needs of new mothers:

Prenatal Yoga: Designed for the ever-changing prenatal body, prenatal yoga sessions offer a welcoming space for flow and education. Lucy focuses on movements and techniques that support pregnancy, labor, and birth, catering to each individual's prenatal experience.

Yoga for Labor & Birth: This service provides a supportive environment for pregnant couples or parents and their support person to explore movements and techniques that can aid during labor and birth. Lucy works with participants to tailor the practice to their unique goals and preferences.

Yoga for Trauma: Lucy understands that trauma can complicate the mind-body connection, especially during the perinatal period. Her yoga sessions provide a safe and respectful space to repair this disconnect, benefiting expecting parents affected by violence, sexual assault, or concerns about Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs).

Workshops and Q&A Sessions: Lucy offers workshops on birth preferences and birth stories, providing essential guidance for expectant parents to address specific concerns about pregnancy, labor, and postpartum, ensuring new mothers can access reliable information and support.

Enter motherhood with confidence and support from Lucy Schanzer, LPS Perinatal. Whether seeking guidance on prenatal wellness, preparing for labor and birth, or navigating the challenges of postpartum life, Lucy is here to provide personalized care and support. You can book your session today and encourage yourself on your path to motherhood.
