Physical Therapist, Pelvic Floor & Orthopedic
Dry Needling Certified
CEO of Oak Cliff Physical Therapy

Jamie grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and graduated from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill with a BA in Dramatic Art. She pursued stage and screen acting in New York, Los Angeles and Birmingham, Alabama. After a positive experience with physical therapy for her own hip and back pain, she was drawn to this field that uses movement as medicine. She decided to make a career change and graduated from UT Southwestern in 2019.

Jamie’s orthopedic practice combines the use of hands-on, manual therapy to accelerate healing with tailored exercises and education to meet each patient’s unique goals. She is also specially trained to treat women’s pelvic health and is passionate about helping women resolve sensitive issues that have historically been left undiagnosed and untreated. Her patients range from athletes to couch potatoes, and she is happy to speak with you if you’re unsure if PT is right for you.

Throughout her PT journey, Jamie has strived to be a “Yes, And” PT, a concept she carried over from her acting days in improv class. “Yes” - meeting patients exactly where they are in function, pain and readiness to change. “And” - bringing the tools encouraging them to be active collaborators in the treatment process.

Jamie lives in Kings Highway with her husband, toddler, two cats and snuggly pitbull mix. Outside of work, she enjoys singing musical theater at the top of her lungs, tending to her indoor jungle, and sharing a lavender fluff sundae from Joy with friends and family. She is thrilled to be serving her Oak Cliff neighborhood in collaboration with Our Wellness Community!

Enthusiasm meets active collaboration in healing.
